3 Hour Refresher Training Session

red cross This type of training is offered to prevent skill decay or skill fade.  The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) strongly recommends that you should consider completing a 3 hour training session annually to keep your first aid knowledge and skills up to date.

During these 3 hours delegates will refresh previous skills taught.

3 Hour Emergency Response Course

This is a short course in Basic Life Support and is ideal for those looking to gain basic first aid knowledge and skills. The aim of the course is to enable all students to deal with an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally, and how to deal with an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally.

red cross Hygiene control

Catastrophic Bleeding Workshop

The aim of this 3 hour workshop is to provide first aiders who work in high risk working environment eg: Forrestry, Agriculture, Construction, Heavy Plant, etc with the knowledge and skills to stop catastrophic bleeding using tourniquets and haemostatic agents.

These items have been used on the battlefields of Afghanistan and Iraq with compounding success. It is fact that tourniquets provide an effective means to STOP catastrophic bleeding. Added to this, haemostatic agents and dressing such as Celox, Quick/Wound clot, Hemcon, etc can provide extra tools for the first aider to stop bleeding and saves lives.
