red cross Two day Paediatric first aid course level 3 award is ideal for Teachers, Child Minders and Creche Assistants who are responsible for the welfare of Children and Babies in their care. It provides those persons with a sound knowledge and understanding of child and baby first aid procedures, along with the ability to recognise and treat many childhood conditions and illnesses. This course satisfies the guidelines and criteria as laid down by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and OFSTED.

This course consists of 2 units:

Unit 1 – Emergency Paediatrics First Aid (Mums, Dads, Grandparents etc).

Unit 2 – Managing Paediatrics Illness, Injuries and Emergencies (Anyone who has a responsibility for infant or child in their care).

Delegates can attend either unit 1 which is ideal for non-professionals or attend both units which is the full qualification for professionals.

red cross On successfully passing you will be awarded a Level 3 QCF Paediatrics Certificate, which is valid for 3 years subject to annual refresher training.
